Overview
TAG Truck Center in Springfield, MO is seeking a qualified professional to fill the role of Service Business Development Representative. The primary focus of this role is to develop and strengthen relationships with customers while increasing business levels through both new account acquisition and expansion of existing customer business. This individual will work closely with truck fleet operators and owner-operators to improve vehicle uptime, maintenance planning, and overall maintenance efficiency while expanding the dealership’s market presence. The applicant must possess ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively with limited supervision.
Duties
Regularly travel to current and prospective customer locations within assigned area of responsibility. Increase market penetration and service revenue by actively seeking new customers and opportunities. Act as a technical advisor to customers, helping them with fleet health evaluation, maintenance scheduling, emerging issue identification, and maintenance expense optimization. Engage with customers and dealership staff to expedite service scheduling and quoting for customer repairs. Track and analyze business development, customer engagement, and service performance metrics. Submit necessary reporting and documentation within prescribed intervals.
Requirements
- Experience in a HD commercial truck dealership sales or service or fleet maintenance with an understanding of repair procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and accurately.
- Highly motivated, self-disciplined, focused, and professional
- Knowledge of or ability to learn dealership service operations including service writing and mechanical workflows.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Technologically proficient (Windows applications, web-based applications, Office, iOS apps).
Pay: $41,600.00 - $75,000.00 per year
