Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff management.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer engagement.
- Manage scheduling, and employee orientation to maintain operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to meet sales targets.
- Utilize POS system for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting while ensuring accuracy in cashiering and bookkeeping tasks.
- Implement sales strategies, pricing adjustments, and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue.
- Maintain operational standards by supervising shift management, store cleanliness, safety protocols, and compliance with company policies.
Skills
- Proven management experience within the retail industry with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Strong organizational skills with proficiency in inventory control, merchandising, and POS systems.
- Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution.
- Experience in recruiting, interviewing, training & development of staff.
- Knowledge of retail math including budgeting, sales analysis, and pricing strategies.
- Familiarity with shoe-specific product knowledge is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to manage operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of store presentation and customer satisfaction.
