Job Summary
We are looking for a warm, dependable, and outgoing receptionist who genuinely enjoys speaking with patients and helping them feel comfortable.
Dental experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
Schedule
Enjoy the balance of a consistent four-day workweek:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This daytime schedule keeps your evenings free.
Responsibilities
Training will be provided in areas where you do not have prior experience.
- Welcome patients warmly and professionally
- Answer phones and assist patients with questions
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Communicate with English- and Spanish-speaking patients
- Update patient information and records
- Collect payments and maintain accurate records
- Manage patient recalls and follow-up appointments
- Keep the reception area organized
- Work cooperatively with doctors and other team members
Required
- Able to communicate effectively in English and Spanish
- Friendly, engaging, and comfortable speaking with people
- Dependable and punctual
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Professional and respectful toward patients and coworkers
- Maintains confidentiality and professional discretion
- Willing to learn, accept guidance, and work as part of a team
Preferred, but Not Required
- Previous dental front-office experience
- Eaglesoft or other dental software experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology
- Experience discussing treatment plans or patient financial arrangements
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
