Overview:
We are looking for a team member who is organized, professional, and loves nature and animals. In the role of Pack Walker, you will be responsible for the care of 6-8 dogs at a time. This includes safe transport of the dogs to and from their home, providing water, exercise, and enrichment. If you love dogs and want to learn more about proper socialization and care, this is the position for you.
Daily Tasks Include:
- Picking dogs up on time
- Communicating with parents and team members
- Providing exercise and mental enrichment
- Providing water and ensuring well-being
- Keeping dogs calm and controlled on trails
- Managing a group of 6-8 well behaved dogs on trails
- Using scientifically backed training principles to enforce proper behavior in public
- Cleaning and sanitizing
Training will be provided. Previous experience is recommended but not required. Applicants must be able to walk on uneven terrain in all weather conditions for 60 mins. Applicants should have a car with a back seat and be able to transport dogs daily. This position is 30-40 hours per week, including weekends. Shifts are from 9:30am-4:30pm or 12:30pm-5:30. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, a reliable vehicle, and maintain proper insurance and registration for their vehicle.
