Job Summary
We are seeking talented and passionate Licensed Hair Professionals , Barbers , estheticians , nail techs , braiders, & loc professionals to join our vibrant salon team! In this dynamic role, you will deliver exceptional hair care services, including styling, coloring, and treatments, while creating a welcoming environment for clients. Your expertise in hair extensions, coloring techniques, and grooming will help clients look and feel their best. As a key member of our team, you’ll also engage in retail sales, promote salon services, and contribute to a positive, energetic atmosphere that encourages growth and creativity. Duties
- Provide professional hair styling, coloring, and finishing services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
- Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading with precision and care
- Maintain strict sanitation standards to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff
- Utilize salon software systems like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process transactions efficiently
- Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Assist with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, checking in appointments, and managing walk-ins
- Mentor junior team members by sharing techniques in hair styling, color theory, and customer service excellence
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license issued by the state or relevant licensing authority
- Proven experience in hair styling, coloring (including advanced techniques), and grooming services such as straight razor shaves
- Strong knowledge of salon software platforms like MINDBODY for appointment booking and client management
- Expertise in hair extensions application, eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, and hair threading is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures to maintain a clean working environment
- Ability to perform retail sales effectively through upselling complementary products such as hair care items and cosmetics
- Store management experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities
- Passionate about continuous learning in areas like color theory, retail math calculations for product sales, and new beauty trends
