We are searching for teammates to assist with our “CLICK! With Your Guests” certification (training) events that revolve around the organization’s key service values: Communicate Courteously, Listen to Learn, Initiate Immediately, Create Connections, and Know Your Stuff.
As an associate, you will perform a key role in supporting our award-winning Guest Relations Team as we strive to be the most Fan-centric organization in professional sports. In addition you will assist with training & development, game nights, and administrative support.
Provide logistical support in preparation and execution of training certification events
Serve as event engagement ambassador including, set-up of the training environment, welcoming event attendees, distribution of certification items and modeling the “CLICK! With Your Guests” approach to hospitality members
Coordinate training materials and maintain inventory of training supplies
Organize training storage closet, maintain sanitation and hygiene standards throughout training spaces and keep inventory up-to-date
Develop solid understanding of the “CLICK! With Your Guests” certification content
Be available to work weekdays, as well as evenings for Oklahoma City Thunder home games
Serve as a knowledgeable guide at the Paycom Center, equipped to answer questions regarding arena policies and procedures, premium spaces, Fan activation, and wayfinding
Work closely with Paycom Center, Thunder, and third-party vendor staff to resolve issues
Help with the setup, organization of promotional materials and resolution items, and breakdown of the Fan Information Booth
Offer administrative and logistical support to the department as necessary in the office
Provide coverage for our front desk, answering phones and greeting guests in our corporate office
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working at the front desk in the corporate office
What you’ll bring to the role:
Minimum age requirement, 18 years
Committed to provide outstanding hospitality through professional and courteous interactions
Strong communication and listening skills
Comfortable speaking with people from all demographics in public settings
Organized, attentive to details, and possess excellent work ethic in a fast-paced environment
Able to work 90% of all scheduled training events and, on occasion, work on short notice (within 48 hours)
This is a seasonal part-time, hourly position reporting to the Guest Experience Training and Development Coordinator. The work schedule will include 6-20 hours per week. The work schedule requires 16-30 hours per week and includes office hours, events, and game night responsibilities during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The primary work location will be the Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City. Additionally, there will be training sessions, each lasting approximately 4 hours, as well as office hours scheduled as needed. Physical requirements of the job may include lifting of up to 50 pounds, and working in the presence of loud in-arena noise and flashing lights.
