Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Board Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain electronic circuit boards used in semiconductor test equipment and related systems. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electronic circuit boards to component level
- Perform failure analysis and root cause troubleshooting
- Use schematics, diagrams, and test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
- Replace components including ICs, BGAs, capacitors, resistors, and connectors
- Document repairs, findings, and corrective actions
- Support engineering teams with debug and validation activities
- Maintain repair tools, ESD-safe workspace, and inventory of spare components
- Assist with process improvements and repair turnaround efficiency
Qualifications
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in electronics repair or board-level troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuits
- Experience using diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, DMM, power supplies)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
- Hands-on soldering and rework skills (SMT and through-hole)
Preferred:
- Experience with semiconductor test equipment or wafer probing systems
- BGA rework and micro-soldering experience
- Familiarity with failure analysis techniques
- IPC certification (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)
- Associate degree or technical certification in electronics or related field

Work Environment
