Compensation & Structured Promotion Path
We believe in setting our leadership up for absolute success. This role features a built-in training and promotion structure to ensure you master our systems, team dynamics, and operational standards before taking full ownership:
- Phase 1: Onboarding & Training (Summer): You will begin at $19.00/hr, training directly alongside ownership and our outgoing manager on day-to-day assistant manager duties, front-desk workflows, and guest relations.
- Phase 2: Full Operations Manager Promotion (Post-Summer): Upon successful completion of training and independent mastery of facility operations, you will be promoted to Operations Manager with an increased wage of $23.00/hr.

Qualifications & Experience
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience (Required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a child-adjacent field, family entertainment, or early childhood environment (Preferred).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and provide excellent professional references.
- Lives within a reasonable, reliable commuting distance of the facility.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and remain active on your feet.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Serve as the vital liaison between store ownership and staff, ensuring clear, consistent, and respectful communication.
- Organize and maintain the weekly employee schedule, strategically optimizing for peak hours, weekends, and busy holidays.
- Manage staff absences smoothly and take swift initiative to ensure adequate shift coverage.
- Supervise, train, and provide ongoing motivational and constructive feedback to team members.
- Assist ownership in seeking out, interviewing, and onboarding quality new hires.
- Lead by example, delivering calm, clear solutions in stressful or fast-paced situations.
Operations, Cleanliness, & Customer Service
- Independently manage daily storefront operations with total reliability.
- Provide exceptional customer service, warmly greeting families and cultivating a welcoming community vibe.
- Maintain an absolute commitment to facility cleanliness, employing precision and diligence during daily sanitization and cleaning routines.
- Master daily multitasking: efficiently handle front-desk check-ins, respond promptly to customer emails, and oversee floor safety simultaneously.
- Maintain precise, up-to-date inventory records for retail, cafe, and facility supplies.
Financial Oversight & Event Coordination
- Oversee daily financial inputs, including accurate POS transactions, membership payments, invoice tracking, and basic expense logging.
- Maintain a high level of diligence regarding cash-handling controls, register auditing, and daily reporting.
- Manage weekend party bookings and respond promptly to private event inquiries.
- Partner with the Assistant Manager on day-of party coordination, ensuring staff execution is flawless and events run smoothly.
Marketing & Technology
- Comfortable using modern POS systems and basic digital administrative tools.
- Proficient with social media platforms; able to support local marketing efforts by maintaining an active, engaging, and professional online presence.
- Take initiative on themed events and community outreach ideas to boost weekend traffic and membership growth.
- Willingness to spend approximately 1–2 hours per week working independently from home on administrative tasks (scheduling, email replies, etc.).
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
