Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their event experience
- Support food and beverage service, including serving, bussing tables, and handling food safely
- Assist with food preparation, setup, and breakdown for events, ensuring cleanliness and organization
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions involving food, beverages, or merchandise
- Maintain high standards of food handling, safety, and sanitation throughout all event activities
- Support catering operations by setting up stations, replenishing supplies, and ensuring timely service
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a lively, energetic atmosphere that encourages guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality environment preferred; culinary or banquet experience is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and beverage service standards
- Experience working with POS systems and cash handling is advantageous
- Knowledge of wine or beverage offerings enhances guest interactions; fine dining or hotel experience is beneficial
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Prior catering or restaurant experience demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced settings
