Host / Expo — 56 Kitchen (Solon, OH)

56 Kitchen is a scratch-kitchen, modern American restaurant in Solon known for made-from-scratch food, a full bar, and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere — the kind of place where regulars know the staff by name. We're looking for a Host/Expo to be one of the first faces guests see and a key link between our kitchen and dining room.
What you'll do:
- Greet and seat guests, manage the waitlist and reservations, and set the tone for their whole visit
- Run expo during service — checking plates for accuracy and presentation before they hit the floor, and keeping the pass organized so food goes out hot and on time
- Communicate between kitchen and servers to keep tickets moving smoothly during busy shifts
- Keep the front-of-house area clean, organized, and guest-ready
What we're looking for:
- Someone friendly, organized, and calm under pressure
- A team player who communicates well with both kitchen and front-of-house staff
- No experience required — we'll train you. Restaurant or customer service experience is a plus
