About the Role:
Youth Athletes United of The Palm Beaches is looking for an energetic and passionate Youth Sports Coach to inspire the next generation of athletes in Boca Raton, FL and surrounding areas! This is your chance to make a real impact by building confidence, teamwork, and athletic skills in young players. If you love sports and love working with kids, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate sports practices and drills for youth athletes
- Teach fundamental athletic skills, sportsmanship, and teamwork in a positive environment
- Supervise and ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress and schedules
- Set up and break down equipment before and after sessions
- Monitor and manage player behavior, enforcing program rules and values
- Collaborate with fellow coaches and program staff to deliver a high-quality athletic experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience coaching, mentoring, or working with youth in a sports or recreational setting
- Knowledge of one or more sports disciplines (soccer, basketball, baseball, etc.)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass a background check
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with a passion for youth development
- Reliable transportation
