Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on domestic and imported vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and oil changes
- Diagnose drivability concerns using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete engine, transmission, and drivetrain repairs as needed
- Communicate repair findings with management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Respond to New Britain and Private tow requests, both flatbed and wrecker
Qualifications
- Professional automotive repair experience
- Flatbed and Wrecker operating experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license
- Pass Background Check
- Pass DOT Drug Test
- Own basic hand tools
- Ability to perform body work preferred, but not required
- Connecticut safety inspection experience preferred, but not required
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
