We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused driver to join our food service distribution team. Must speak Spanish and English fluently, since most of our costumers are Spanish-speaking. This position is responsible for delivering food service products to multiple customer locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable loading and unloading products. This is a four-day workweek position (Wednesday through Saturday).
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck
- Deliver food service products to multiple customer locations according to scheduled routes.
- Load and unload products using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other delivery equipment.
- Verify delivery orders.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Previous route delivery, or distribution experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to safety and customer service.
- Reliable and punctual.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and climbing in and out of the truck.
- Ability to unload products at multiple stops throughout the day.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
