Lanoha Nurseries, Inc is adding a Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator to our Administrative team. The Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations of the company, with a primary focus on plant material and related supplies. This role ensures timely purchasing, accurate inventory control, efficient delivery coordination, and provides day-to-day IT support to maintain smooth business operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
2–5 years of purchasing, logistics, inventory management, or operations experience.
Associate’s degree in Business Management OR equal experience is preferred
Basic knowledge in horticulture preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Experience with ERP, inventory management, or purchasing software is preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
Occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
Assist with purchasing plant material, hard goods, and operational supplies.
Coordinate with growers, vendors, and suppliers to ensure product availability and timely delivery.
Researching & purchasing of quality products within defined ranges; price and quality comparisons
Prepare and process purchase orders and maintain accurate purchasing records.
Communicate with vendors, drivers, and customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
Ensure accurate documentation for shipments and deliveries.
Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment.
Provide first-level IT technical support for employees.
Coordinate with third-party IT providers on system maintenance and troubleshooting.
Assist with software installations, updates, and user account management.
Maintain technology inventory and documentation.
