Summary
Responsible for managing customer accounts, coordinating cross-functional activities related to product commercialization, production planning, and customer success, and serving as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal departments. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion in evaluating customer needs, resolving issues, coordinating resources, and recommending solutions that support business objectives. The position works closely with sales leadership and operational teams to enhance customer satisfaction, support revenue growth, and ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, vendors, distributors, and key contacts to support customer satisfaction and successful project execution.
- Serve as a point of contact for assigned customer accounts and facilitate communication between customers and internal departments.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop marketing strategies
- Coordinate customer purchase orders, fulfillment activities, and related documentation to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Create customer presentations, production demonstrations, and facility tours to communicate product capabilities and manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new customers and vendors, ensuring required documentation and processes are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain customer-facing materials, product information, marketing collateral, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate with production, logistics, quality, and sales teams to support customer requirements and project timelines.
- Monitor order status and customer requests and communicate updates to appropriate stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate, organized, and timely records of customer interactions, purchase orders, account activities, and related business documentation.
- Attend customer meetings and facility visits to support account management activities and strengthen customer relationships.
- Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing workload, coordinating customer requirements, resolving routine customer concerns, and supporting operational objectives.
- Travel to industry events, visitation to facilities within company network may be required on occasion
- Comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), food safety requirements, quality standards, and company policies while visiting production facilities.
- Participate in training related to job duties, safety, equipment operation, food safety, and product handling.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Preferred Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience in the beverage, food manufacturing, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of logistics, production planning, order fulfillment, and customer service processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Education / Certificates
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitious work.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand up to 80% of shift.
- Squatting, and pushing/pulling up to 30% of shift.
