Troubleshoot and correct problems with equipment, processes, and components.

Monitor and maintain equipment safety devices.

Monitor and maintain proper component quality standards.

Coordinate and monitor proper start up and shut down of the molding processes in the area.

Coordinate and monitor the maintenance of system filters and Conair system.

Perform pull/sets of mold tools.
-
Set up and maintain granulators, conveyors, separators, mold temp control units, water temp control units, resin dryers and scales for assigned machines.

Perform required inspections, mold approvals, rejections, setup of gauges and leak testing.

Responsible for accurate and timely production reporting.

Assist with repairs when needed.

Perform and ensure completion of all PMs.

Ensure all inspections are completed in a timely manner.

Assist with continuous improvement projects.

Ensure supportive communication between shifts.

Ensure proper clean up and disposal of wastewater and waste oil.

Assist in training new personnel as requested.

Maintain regular, punctual attendance.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

High School diploma or GED required.

1+ year experience in molding.

- Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Basic computer keyboard and navigational skills including Microsoft Office.
- General knowledge of molding machines, resins and processes preferred.
- Good understanding of mold design and operation preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of molded parts, quality specifications and inspection procedures preferred.
