About the Opportunity:
At Adventures In Learning Childcare Center, we believe the earliest years are the most important. We're seeking a nurturing and attentive Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our care team and help our youngest learners thrive through responsive care and age-appropriate stimulation.
This role focuses on creating a secure, loving classroom where infants and toddlers are supported in reaching key developmental milestones through sensory play, exploration, and relationship-based care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide responsive, compassionate care to infants and toddlers (ages 6 weeks to 24 months)
- Support emotional, physical, and social development through safe, hands-on activities
- Maintain consistent routines for feeding, diapering, naps, and sensory experiences
- Communicate regularly with parents about developmental milestones and daily routines
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and teacher-to-child ratios at all times
- Keep accurate records including attendance, incident reports, and care logs
- Participate in center-wide initiatives, training sessions, and team meetings
- Foster a calm, caring, and stimulating classroom environment
Ideal Candidate Has:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Early Childhood Education credits are a plus)
- At least 1 year of professional childcare experience with infants or toddlers
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and meet all licensing requirements
- Patience, warmth, and a strong understanding of early child development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Respect for children’s diverse needs, cultures, and learning styles
