Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Dog Groomers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals and providing top-notch care to furry companions. This role involves bathing and trimming dogs of all sizes and breeds, ensuring their comfort, and maintaining a clean and safe grooming environment. Some experience required with paid training to assist in employee development.
Responsibilities
- Bathe and trim pets using appropriate grooming techniques
- Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately during bathing procedures
- Assist in nail trimming, ear cleaning, and other basic grooming tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area
- Provide water and food to pets as needed
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues during bathing

- Enjoys animals and treating them with care.
- Likes a fast paced environment and working with your hands.
- Some prior work experience in grooming, willing to learn, fast learner.
- Works well under pressure and with a close team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work Saturdays!
- Comfortable working with dogs all sizes and breeds
- Must be organized, patient, reliable, and able to multitask
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with staff and customers
- Ability and willingness to handle day-to-day customer service challenges
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check
- Ability to lift 20-40 lbs, must be able to stand 5-8 hours, position involves bending /carrying/lifting
- Willing to complete training
- Minimum 18 years old
- On site at the shop location in Mill Valley
