We're hiring a Lead Journeyman to serve as a working field leader who supports day-to-day crew coordination, workflow continuity, mentorship, and field execution across active residential and commercial projects. This role plays a critical part in maintaining organization, communication, and team stability while reinforcing company standards, safety expectations, and jobsite professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
In this role, you serve as a Massachusetts licensed Journeyman Electrician and experienced field leader who helps maintain organization, workflow continuity, and execution quality on active projects. You understand how to balance hands-on electrical work with leadership responsibilities and take pride in helping crews stay productive, aligned, and focused on the work at hand.
You are confident coordinating daily field activities, supporting installation planning, and helping teams navigate changing field conditions. You communicate proactively, identify obstacles before they become larger issues, and work closely with company leadership to keep projects moving efficiently.
You set the standard for workmanship in the field. You understand that exceptional electrical installations require patience, attention to detail, consistency, and discipline, and you reinforce those expectations through your own work and day-to-day leadership. You are committed to producing installations that are clean, organized, and executed to a high standard every time.
You are comfortable serving as a communication bridge between field teams, leadership, contractors, and trade partners while maintaining a professional and solutions-oriented approach to jobsite challenges.
What We Offer
- $40-$45 per hour, based on experience

Work Location & Requirements
This is a full-time field position working primarily on active residential and commercial construction projects. A current driver's license and clean driving records is required. Team members are expected to have reliable transportation to the main Gabriel Electric shop/office. Transportation to projects off site will be provided.
Overtime may be required to complete projects. General working hours are 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
