We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team! Duties
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently, adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen tools following strict sanitation standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including ingredient handling and assembly
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring cleanliness in dining areas
- Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely and correctly
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas to meet sanitation requirements
- Follow all kitchen health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone involved
Qualifications
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment are advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Prior catering or food handling experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
