Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including rough, finish, re-finish, custom carpentry and millwork. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Restore and repair structures including historical structures, ensuring quality, durability, and safety.
- Understand wood species, their uses & applications.
- Install doors, floors, trim work, windows, framing members, cabinetry, siding, fencing, decking, etc. accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Engage in remodeling projects, transforming spaces according to client specifications.
- Build frameworks for structures, ensuring they meet design specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct frame carpentry tasks, including constructing walls, floors, and ceilings.
- Lift heavy materials & climb ladders as needed while adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in restoration techniques, including millwork.
- Punctuality a must.
- Must Own your own tools & vehicle.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on project locations.
- Bi-Lingual a Plus.
- Any other experience a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
