Direct Support Professional – Personal Care (DSP-PC)

Community Alternatives, Inc. (CAI) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals – Personal Care (DSP-PC) to join our OUDP Program. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity—both in the program and in the community.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct personal care including hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility support
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) in both program and community settings
- Promote independence, self-direction, and community engagement
- Support skill-building, socialization, and job-related activities
- Monitor health and safety, reporting any concerns immediately
- Document services, progress, and incidents accurately
- Collaborate with team members, families, and supervisors to support individual goals
What We’re Looking For:
- PCA or CNA Certification Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 100 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed
- Resume must include detailed and relevant experience in personal care, caregiving, or supporting individuals with disabilities
