Are you searching for the right Part-Time opportunity? Plymouth Quarries is looking for a talented sales associate with excellent customer service skills.
We are a family-owned family of businesses located on Massachusetts' South Shore. We are looking to hire an employee for our Retail Sales Associate position . This position will play a key seasonal role in supporting Plymouth Quarries located at 410 Whiting St. Hingham, MA.
The successful candidate will have the necessary sales and customer service skills plus demonstrated competencies in areas of dependability, punctuality, and teamwork and collaboration.
General Responsibilities and Duties:
- Apply sales techniques that support concrete, stone, brick and landscape products.
- Interact and communicate with customers and co-workers.
- Assist with managing projects.
- Order entry using multiple software applications.
- Use of phone systems.
- Attention to quality control.
- Use of several computer systems.
- Other duties as required.

- Performs work independently, is a self-starter and motivated.
- Collaborates with coworkers, participates in solving problems and enjoys working in a team environment.
- Ability to work with and on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Computer literacy and skills.
Essential Physical Requirements:
- Requires full dexterity of hands and fingers for computer use.
- Requires sitting for extended periods.
- Requires reaching for extended periods.
Required: Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years’ retail/sales experience, preferred (will train right person with less experience).
- Phone skills with excellent etiquette.
