For 76 years, Beverly Hills Presbyterian Preschool has provided a nurturing, faith-based learning environment where children thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We are proud to be NAEYC Accredited and are currently pursuing our Nature Explore Classroom Certification, reflecting our commitment to excellence in early childhood education and outdoor learning.
We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and passionate teachers who believe children learn best through play, relationships, and meaningful experiences. Our ideal candidate embraces a child-centered approach, values respectful interactions, and aligns with the principles of the RIE (Resources for Infant Educarers) philosophy, supporting children's independence, competence, and emotional development.
What You'll Do
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that foster kindergarten readiness.
- Inspire children through music, movement, storytelling, art, and exploration.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families.
- Support children in developing social-emotional skills and conflict resolution strategies.
- Enjoy outdoor learning and nature-based experiences.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of educators who value professionalism and lifelong learning.
- Be willing to get messy, sit on the ground, explore, create, and learn alongside children every day.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 completed Early Childhood Education units required.
- 2 years of experience working with young children.
- Strong classroom management and conflict resolution skills.
- Positive, collaborative, and professional attitude.
- Passion for play-based, developmentally appropriate practices.
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of a Christian preschool.

Schedule
BHPP is a part-time preschool program serving children ages 2–5 years old.
Children's schedules:
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Teacher schedule:
- Average of 6.5 hours per day
