The Senior HR Generalist serves as both a strategic and operational partner, supporting all aspects of Human Resources while aligning HR initiatives with business objectives. This role partners closely with leaders and employees to foster a positive workplace culture and is responsible for employee relations, performance management, employee engagement, training and development, HR policy administration, compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and the administration of employee onboarding and separation processes. The Senior HR Generalist also analyzes HR data, interprets policies, and provides recommendations that enhance HR operations, improve workforce effectiveness, and support organizational success.
Key Responsibilities

Administer human resources policies and procedures across multiple functional areas.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees regarding workplace issues and employment matters.

Provide guidance on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary processes.

Collect and analyze HR data and provide recommendations to management.
- Support HR functions including employment, compensation, benefits, training, compliance reporting, and employee relations.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a positive new hire experience

Support leadership development and career growth initiatives.

Support annual merits and incentive programs.

Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.

Support organizational culture, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives.

Partner with managers on job evaluation requests.
- Interpret HR policies and counsel employees on work-related concerns.
- Conduct termination interviews.
Conduct research, analyze data, and develop recommendations for assigned HR projects.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.

2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge of HR techniques, applications, and programs.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and implement process improvements.
