Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks with professionalism, maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties like processing payments and giving change
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly advantageous
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality guest service
- Experience with upselling techniques, sales goals, and guest relations to enhance the dining experience
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
- Background in hospitality or customer service roles that emphasize guest engagement and positive interactions
