Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
- Observe and support clinical procedures including vital signs measurement, medical documentation, and patient transfer methods.
- Engage with patients of all ages, including geriatric populations and pediatric patients
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality while supporting medical staff with documentation and record management using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Participate in infection control protocols and uphold patient safety standards
- Support manual handling tasks and operate medical equipment under supervision to understand operational procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to enhance the overall care experience.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed high school or undergraduate studies with a strong interest in pursuing a career in healthcare or medicine.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for gaining clinical exposure in hospital or outpatient settings.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating professionalism and compassion.
- Willingness to learn about acute care, post-acute care, outpatient services, and sub-acute care environments.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to infection control policies.
