Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist in the management of patients with infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their independence and well-being.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within healthcare systems.
- Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed, providing care in various settings.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
Experience
- Current LPN license in good standing.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with urgent care practices and infectious disease management is advantageous.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and infection control measures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
