The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced perioperative RN to join our OR team. Whether your background is in scrub, circulating, pre-op, or PACU, you will find a focused clinical environment where your skills are put to work every day, your teammates know your name, and your schedule is predictable. Our centers offer a professional, collegial atmosphere where experienced nurses can do excellent clinical work without the unpredictability that comes with larger, more complex care settings.
What You Will Do
- Provide high-quality direct patient care throughout the perioperative continuum including pre-operative assessment and preparation, intraoperative scrub or circulating duties, and post-anesthesia recovery as assigned
- Conduct thorough pre-operative patient assessments, verify surgical consents, confirm allergies, and prepare patients and families for the surgical experience
- Serve as scrub or circulating nurse in the OR, maintaining sterile field integrity and supporting the surgical team throughout all phases of the procedure
- Monitor and assess patients in the PACU, manage pain and comfort, and coordinate safe patient discharge in collaboration with the care team
- Accurately document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses
- Maintain clinical competency with equipment, instruments, and supplies across assigned surgical specialties
- Participate actively in quality, patient safety, and infection control programs
- Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
What You Bring
- Current RN licensure in Oregon, in good standing — required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience - required
- Perioperative nursing experience in OR scrub/circulate, pre-op, or PACU — preferred
- ASC experience preferred; strong OR or surgical services experience in an acute care setting will be considered
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- CNOR, CAPA, or CPAN certification a plus
- Strong clinical assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume surgical environment
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills across the care team
