Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our valued clients and our skilled technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle drop-off to completion. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and exceptional communication skills will drive customer satisfaction and help maximize service sales.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to their vehicle concerns to accurately document issues.
- Explain repair recommendations clearly, including estimates for parts and labor using estimating software.
- Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, transmissions, air brakes, and other automotive repairs.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services.
- Manage service writing processes efficiently while maintaining detailed records of all transactions.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding vehicle status updates and additional service opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely.
Skills
- Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Familiarity with DMS, texting and appointment driven software.
- Solid understanding of automotive diagnostics, collision repair, and general automotive repair procedures.
- Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency.
- Knowledge of dealership operations, auto estimating, and service writing best practices.
- Honda experience a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
