We're looking for someone who loves people.
Escape Room Concord NH has been one of New Hampshire's favorite local experiences since 2017 — veteran-owned, community-rooted, and genuinely fun. We're not a franchise. We're a small team that takes real pride in giving every group a great night out. Right now, we're adding a Game Master to that team, and we'd love to find the right person.
No escape room experience required. We'll train you on everything. What we can't train is warmth, quick thinking, and the ability to read a room — so that's what we're hiring for.
What You'll Do
- Welcome guests and get them pumped up (and a little nervous) before they head in
- Run a pre-game briefing — explain the rules, set the tone, make it fun
- Monitor the room from our control booth and deliver hints when groups are stuck
- Keep an eye on the clock and the energy, and jump in when needed
- Reset rooms between groups so the next team gets a flawless experience
- Keep the whole vibe warm, welcoming, and memorable — from arrival to exit
Who You Are
You're a "people person" — and you mean it. You're comfortable being "on" in front of a group, you stay calm when things get chaotic, and you genuinely enjoy helping people have a good time.
You might be (or have been): a theater or improv person, a camp counselor, a teacher, a barista, a server, a retail veteran, or a student who's great with groups. If you've ever held a room, wrangled a crowd, or kept a group smiling through something stressful — you already have the core skill set.
You're reliable. You show up when you say you will. You communicate clearly and honestly. And ideally, you think puzzles and problem-solving are at least a little bit cool.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort engaging with groups of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to be on your feet for a shift and work in a fast-paced, back-to-back environment
- Availability for some evenings and weekends (that's when the fun happens)
- Must be 18+
Hours & What We Offer
We're flexible. We have part-time, full-time, and summer-seasonal openings, and we'll work with your schedule — we just need you available for some evenings and weekends, since those are our busiest times.
