Our Behavior Support Program provides individualized behavioral support to children and families who may be waiting for services, need additional guidance, or could benefit from practical strategies in the home, school, or community setting.
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and engaging Behavior Support Specialist to work directly with children and families. This role focuses on building positive relationships, supporting social-emotional development, teaching replacement skills, and helping families implement practical behavior strategies.
This position is ideal for individuals pursuing careers in psychology, education, social work, counseling, child development, behavior analysis, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Build rapport and positive relationships with children and families
- Implement individualized behavior support strategies developed by the clinical team
- Support social, communication, play, and daily living skills
- Assist children in developing coping, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills
- Provide parent support and model effective behavior management strategies
- Document session notes and progress accurately
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and caregivers
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience in education, childcare, ABA, mental health, social work, or related fields is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Job Type: Part-Time
Location: In- School (Winter Garden FL)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
