Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Landscape Foreman to lead and oversee all aspects of landscape projects and maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate a team of skilled landscapers, ensuring that every project meets high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscaping crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to specifications
- Oversee landscape maintenance tasks including lawn care, pruning, planting, irrigation system installation and repair, and general gardening duties
- Manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including site preparation, construction, planting, and finishing touches
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards, promoting a safe work environment for all team members
- Provide guidance and mentorship to crew members on horticultural techniques, equipment operation, and best practices in landscape maintenance
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure the durability and aesthetic appeal of completed projects
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to coordinate schedules and address project needs
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscaping or related outdoor maintenance fields
- Strong background in landscape maintenance, lawn care, gardening, horticulture, and tree care
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor projects such as patios, retaining walls, or pathways
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Familiarity with equipment operation including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping tools
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in project planning and execution
