Norway Savings Bank is seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Officer Manager to join our team, based out of our office in Norway, ME.
In this role, you will give prompt attention to inside and outside referrals, while using various digital and external sales methods to build and develop COI relationships. Additionally, you'll contribute to loan portfolio growth by promoting the Bank’s products and services while increasing the Bank’s presence and competitiveness in the designated markets.
You will identify and act on cross-sales and referral opportunities for other lines of business, as well as contribute to the overall lending production in pursuit of maximum profitability in partnership with the Commercial Team, Branch Leadership and other Internal Partners.
Being a leadership role, you'll provide management for other MLO's and provide them with training and guidance. This will include providing coaching, performance reviews, and mentorship.

Our Candidate Must Have:
- Superior knowledge of Bank products and services
- General knowledge and understanding of finance and accounting practices
- Knowledge of credit practices, along with consumer and residential lending experience strongly preferred
- High school diploma required with post high school education, certification and/or college degree preferred, or commensurate work experience
- Demonstrated sales ability and/or networking experience
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Top-notch written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including but not limited to being a good listener with an acute ability to remain pro-active and decisive
- Excellent organizational skills with strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to accept direction/instruction and work well within a team of professionals
- Experience in negotiating sales preferred

Pay: Position starts at $83,000 per year with flexibility commensurate with experience.
Working Conditions:
Physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards.
Physical effort required; lifting up to 35 lbs.; reaching, twisting, bending, pushing and pulling; standing for extended periods of time; freedom of movement on a regular basis; handling of materials and supplies.
