We are seeking a skilled and reliable ER Technician to join our emergency department team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing direct patient care support in a fast-paced environment and must be comfortable performing clinical and administrative tasks to assist physicians and nurses.
Works Hours: 10am-10pm
Schedule: 3 shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and draw blood specimens accurately
- Start and maintain IV lines as needed
- Assist with basic patient triage, including vital signs and initial assessments
- Support nurses and physicians with patient care and procedures
- Prepare and clean patient rooms and medical equipment
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the clinical team
- Ensure proper documentation of patient interactions and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Prior experience as an ER Technician, Patient Care Technician, or similar role
- Proficient in blood draws and IV insertion
- Knowledge of basic triage procedures
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., BLS/CPR) preferred
