Operations Assistant
Location: Elk Grove Village, IL
Pay: $22–$25/hour + overtime and full benefits
**This is an onsite position. All candidates must reside in a 25-mile radius of Elk Grove Village to be considered.**
Great supply chains are powered by accurate information, strong teamwork, and people who are motivated to make an impact. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional to join our Supply Chain Operations team.
This is an entry-level opportunity, and candidates beginning their careers in supply chain, logistics, or business operations are encouraged to apply. You'll work with experienced team members, learn industry-leading systems, and play an important role in supporting day-to-day supply chain activities.
What You'll Do
- Review and maintain inventory, transportation, and operational data to ensure accuracy across multiple systems.
- Research and resolve data discrepancies by working with internal teams to identify solutions.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel and company reporting tools.
- Monitor data flow between departments to help maintain reliable operational information.
- Support inventory reporting, system updates, and data quality initiatives.
- Organize and maintain operational documentation and reporting files.
- Identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities to improve processes through data analysis.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Operations, Customer Service, and Logistics to support business objectives.
What We're Looking For
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Internship experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a collaborative approach.
