As an Advanced Math Instructor, you will work with middle and high school students on upper-level math concepts, providing individualized and small-group instruction. You’ll help students gain confidence, improve performance, and develop strong problem-solving skills in a positive learning environment.

Provide high-quality one-to-one and small-group instruction as an Advanced Math Instructor

Teach and support students in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics

Create a welcoming, engaging, and structured learning environment

Build confidence and critical thinking skills in every student

Track and communicate student progress with Center Managers and staff

Follow Mathnasium’s instructional standards and teaching practices

Support daily center operations and collaborate with the team

Work closely with other instructors, teachers, and leadership

Strong math proficiency in Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics (required)

Friendly, professional, and student-focused attitude

Ability to connect with both students and parents

High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)

Experience working with children is preferred

Interest in a teacher, tutor, or advanced instructor role

Must pass an upper-level math proficiency test during the in-person interview
This is a part-time Advanced Math Instructor position with flexible hours.
Most shifts are in the afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
We are looking for long-term instructors and teachers who can stay with us throughout the school year.
