This position shift hours is Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 . This position is working with children age 3-4 years old. The classroom has 12 children enrolled and the ratio is 1:12.
Responsibilities:
- implement daily activities and lessons for children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Provide care and support to toddlers and preschool-aged children
- Collaborate to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
- Support children with autism or other special needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities
- Implement behavior management strategies to create a positive and supportive learning environment
-Must be comfortable changing pull ups
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a daycare or preschool setting is preferred
- Familiarity with curriculum development for young children
- Experience working with children with autism or other special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and staff members
