Position Details:
- Onsite assignments located in central Connecticut
- Waiting on confirmation for full-time or part-time hours
- Two distinct roles:
- High School Caseload: Starts August 24, 2026, covering a leave for approximately 4-6 weeks (exact end date TBD)
- Elementary Caseload: Dates to be determined for a similar short-leave assignment
- Immediate openings; interviews conducted via Zoom
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Social Worker licensure/certification in Connecticut (CT DPH and CT 071)
- Prior experience working in school-based settings is required
- Skilled in supporting high school and/or elementary populations
- Comfortable managing responsibilities for short-term leave coverage
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct social work services to students, individually and in groups
- Support student mental health, well-being, and academic adjustment
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to address barriers to learning
- Participate in assessment, crisis intervention, and case management processes
- Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of student records
