Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Delivery Driver - Sales Manager to join our dynamic team! In this dual-role position, you will be the face of our company on the road, delivering products efficiently while also engaging with customers to promote our sales offerings. Your enthusiasm, excellent driving skills, and customer service mindset will drive our success and ensure a positive experience for every client. Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods across designated routes.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with clients professionally during deliveries, answering questions, and promoting additional products or services.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and inventory records throughout each shift.
- Assist in warehouse activities including stock movement, inventory checks, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Ensure compliance with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during every delivery.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong focus on route driving and load & unload procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks and heavy vehicles preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely up to 50 lbs boxes.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and moving tools is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of driving safety practices for commercial vehicles including manual transmission operation.
- Prior experience in sales or promoting products during deliveries is advantageous.
