Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are ready for patient visits.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates, accurately documenting all findings in electronic health records (EHR).
- Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, updating personal information, and explaining procedures clearly.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments
- Conduct routine procedures such as EKGs, specimen collection
- Manage medical documentation efficiently, including coding diagnoses with ICD codes, updating medical records, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Handle medical administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a comfortable environment
- Collaborate with the medical team to deliver quality care in outpatient, and urgent care settings
Skills / Experiences:
- Proficient in coding and medical terminology
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical procedures
- Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately
- Excellent medical administrative support skills
- Prior experience working in medical offices with a focus on internal medicine, or urgent care is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and record management.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Hours of Operation:
Kaneohe Office Hours: Daily 8:00 am - 7:00pm; Must be available to work rotating weekends.
