Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
- Execute specialized floor care tasks including carpet cleaning, polishing hardwood floors, and maintaining tile surfaces to ensure a spotless appearance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs promptly and professionally, ensuring their satisfaction with the cleanliness and overall environment.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation by adhering to proper cleaning protocols and safety procedures across all areas.
- Manage custodial supplies inventory, restocking materials as needed to ensure continuous service without interruption.
- Support housekeeping management by assisting with scheduling, training new staff, and implementing quality control measures for consistent service delivery.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping roles.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and floor care methods including carpet cleaning.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning equipment safely.
- Familiarity with laundry procedures and handling various cleaning supplies responsibly.
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping is a plus but not required.
