Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dispatch Supervisor to lead our warehouse distribution operations with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily dispatch activities, ensuring timely shipping and receiving of goods.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee inventory management processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and materials handling.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely and efficiently to support warehouse functions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols during all warehouse activities.
- Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize distribution center operations and streamline workflows for maximum throughput.
Experience
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, logistics, or supply chain management with demonstrated team leadership capabilities.
- Hands-on warehouse experience including inventory control, shipping & receiving, and materials handling equipment operation.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and RF scanners.
- Strong knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as lean management to enhance operational efficiency.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate cross-functional activities.
- Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role within distribution center operations is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery as required.
