Job Summary:
A Maintenance Technician at Dimmick Group Peterbilt is tasked with working along side the Service Manager to complete general duties required throughout the shop area and other areas of company property.
Essential Duties:
- Detail company vehicles and new trucks.
- Run errands as deemed necessary
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Provide support to service staff as needed.
- Clean and maintain assigned sections of the facility.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing tasks successfully
- Provides basic facility maintenance including cleaning, basic repair, and yard upkeep
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
- Observes safety rules and regulations at all times.
- Ability to understand and follow directions
- Work well in a team environment
- Ability to work independently
- Take personal responsibility for the quality and content of your work.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to be on time for scheduled shift.
Additional Duties:
- Performs additional tasks deemed necessary by management
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to sit, stand, squat and walk.
- Required to climb ladder and work at multiple height levels.
- Occasionally required to lift/move up to 100 lbs.
Certificates, Experience, & Education:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Basic knowledge of heavy duty trucks and repairs is a plus.
