Lead Move Organizer
Overview
The Lead Move Organizer partners with our operations team and clients to oversee and execute moving and downsizing projects from the beginning of the project through final settlement. In this role, you will also take turns with other team members leading a team of move organizers, and ensure each client receives the compassionate, dignified support that defines Square One. This is a permanent, part-time leadership position in the north part of Denver to Ft. Collins area.
Lead Move Organizers are eligible for NASMM's Senior Move Manager® Certification (SMM-C) and Square One's Client-Advocate™ Certification.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Client Management
● Lead and oversee moving and downsizing projects from initial consult through move day and settlement.
● Develop and manage detailed project plans; document progress and communicate status to operations leadership.
● Build relationships with clients and families, modeling compassion, fairness, professionalism, and adherence to company policies.
● Manage complex client interactions, especially when clients are emotionally overwhelmed or resistant to change.
● Oversee move day activities and vendor coordination; ensure clients feel supported from the moment they enter their new home.
Materials, Logistics & Operations
● Track, order, and distribute supplies; report final material counts for invoicing.
● Communicate with vendor partners and new community staff; coordinate logistics to ensure smooth transitions.
● Update project management software promptly; maintain accurate records for each project.
Client & Community Support
● Unpack, organize, and set up homes with client input; ensure every client's first night feels welcoming and settled.
● Send thank you notes and follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
● Attend select networking and marketing events to represent Square One and build community relationships.

Requirements
Availability & Logistics
● Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM for scheduling purposes.
● Schedule flexibility is essential. Work is project-based and sporadic, with hours varying from 1-4 hour shifts during slower weeks to full days during busier weeks.
● Reliable personal vehicle required; valid driver's license in good standing.
● Ability to travel throughout the north Denver area to Ft. Collins for client meetings and project management.
Physical Requirements
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
● Comfortable climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
● Physical ability to work on-site in clients' homes and spaces.
Compensation & Benefits
Job Type Permanent, Part-Time
Salary $25.00 per hour
Mileage Reimbursement for one-way miles from home
