Shift: weekend .13 hrs -24hrs
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Support patients with mobility and transfer methods using equipment such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer techniques.
- Monitor vital signs and observe patient conditions to ensure safety and well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking.
- Administer medications accurately following care plans while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, especially for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or neurodevelopmental disorders like autism.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Support clients during medical appointments or community outings using personal transportation assistance.
- Follow all safety protocols including first aid, CPR, manual handling, and emergency response procedures.
- Document care activities meticulously to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with individuals in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health settings.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring.
- Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and behavioral support strategies.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and patient transfers safely.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders is highly preferred.
- Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in HIPAA compliance or caregiving are a plus.
- Valid driver’s license for personal transportation assistance if needed.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as required by client needs.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
