Cake Decorator/South Austin
Come join our growing and fun decorating team in a modern facility at our main central kitchen and retail location in South Austin!
We are looking for a talented cake decorator with a great attitude to join our decorating group in South Austin, TX. The successful candidate will need the following.
Experience and Skill level (Advanced level only, NO beginners or intermediate):
- Experience working with buttercream (we do not use fondant)
- Good communication skills and ability to follow written instructions
- Experience with piping, cake combs, airbrush, drawing and calligraphy with buttercream
- Experience stacking cakes and base coating
- Ability to design and create images, flowers and other designs with buttercream
- Ability to mix and match custom colors
- Ability to work independently as well as with others within the company
- Ability to work and maintain an organized work area with high volumes on occasion.
Responsibilities will include:
- Review customer order forms, design and create per instructions
- Coordinate with other cake decorators and manager to establish daily tasks
- Communicate with other departments (central kitchen, customer service, and shipping) as needed to answer questions and maintain efficient order processing.
- Maintain quality and a clean work environment on an ongoing basis

The hours for this position will be as follows:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Occasional Saturdays during busy season
Saturday and Sunday OFF
The salary range for this position will be $16.00 to $22.00 hr paid on a biweekly basis.
