Key responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
- Manage advanced life support equipment, including ventilators, infusion devices, and hemodynamic monitors.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other nurses as part of a dedicated critical care team.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and proactively adjust care plans for optimal recovery.
- Provide emotional support to families and update them regularly on patient conditions.
- Adhere strictly to evidence-based clinical protocols, patient safety guidelines, and hospital policies.
Key qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license.
- Recent ICU experience and proven ability to manage critically ill adult patients.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Excellent assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
- Ability to remain composed and decisive in rapidly changing situations.
