- Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics to determine proper installation procedures.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with insulation materials or installation equipment during projects.
- Apply caulking, trim carpentry, or stucco techniques as needed to ensure seamless insulation finishes and proper sealing.
- Collaborate with carpenters, masons, roofers, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate installation efforts effectively.
- Maintain safety standards by using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to OSHA regulations throughout all tasks.
Requirements
- Prior experience on construction sites with familiarity in framing, roofing, or masonry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, tape measures, and utility knives; experience with power tools is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide installation processes.
- Mechanical aptitude for understanding HVAC systems or metal stud framing enhances versatility on projects.
- Knowledge of construction estimating helps in understanding project scope and material needs.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, lift heavy materials, and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly across different trades and project managers.
