We are seeking a dedicated Meat Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a passion for delivering high-quality products to our customers. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to specifications.
- Ensure all meat products are handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the meat preparation area.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines during preparation and handling.
- Assist customers with their meat selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Package meat products for display and sale, ensuring proper labeling.
- Cleaning Cutting Room and doing dishes
- Monitor inventory levels of meat products and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Checking in Meat Deliveries
- Cutting and maintaining retail meat case
- Cutting and filling retail orders as needed
- Completing any other tasks asked of you by management
- Closing and locking up building and setting alarm
- Answering phones and questions inquired by customers and directing them to the correct person if necessary
- Light packaging and tagging
- Follow all food safety and sanitation protocol
- Lifting 50+ pounds on a daily basis
- Avoiding cross contamination with all products you handle
- Knowledge and ability to run all equipment
- Attendance is required
- Clocking in and Out correctly
- Packager
- Cashier/Counter
